Cassidy Northway, PhD Candidate
Cassidy Northway completed her BSc (Hons) in Physics at the University of British Columbia – Okanagan and her MSc in Medical Physics at Dalhousie University. She now works with Dr Ingrid Spadinger completing her PhD. Cassidy’s research focuses on comparing the heterogeneity of the dose delivered to the circulating blood via different Total Body Irradiation delivery techniques. In addition, Cassidy is working with Dr Andrew Robertson to use surface guidance systems to assess the treatment planning margins used during VMAT Total Body Irradiation therapy. Outside of research Cassidy enjoys running and hiking in Beautiful BC, reading and knitting.
