Surface guided radiotherapy (SGRT)
The use of optical imaging systems to localize and monitor patient positioning during radiation therapy treatments is quickly expanding at our clinic and elsewhere. Our surface guided radiotherapy (SGRT) research topics include:
- Impacts of tattooless RT on setup accuracy, treatment times, and patient experience
- Effects of skin tone on SGRT system performance
- SGRT as virtual immobilization to increase patient access to care
- Use of SGRT to inform PTV margins
